A big agricultural project in Azerbaijan’s Shamakhi district with the participation of Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC was implemented by 10 percent in a short period of time, Rauf Azizov, leading marketing specialist of the company, told Trend.
Azizov stressed that the Akkord company acts as a manufacturer and builder in this project.
"We are building a big livestock complex in Sabir village of Shamakhi district,” the specialist added. “In parallel, we supplied 3,000 tons of metal structures for using in the construction of this agricultural complex. About 10-11 percent of the work on the project has been completed."
The specialist added that the Azerbaijani Kristal Absheron company will be engaged in the installation of metal structures.
“A work plan has been drawn up for the coming 6-8 months,” Azizov added.
The Akkord corporation took an active part in the construction of road infrastructure on Galaba Square near the Ganjlik metro station and at the intersections of adjacent streets in Baku upon the project of Singapore’s Surbana International Consultants PTC LTD.
The corporation holds a leading position in the implementation of projects for the construction of bridges, tunnels and other road projects, residential houses and other public buildings, as well as in the production of building materials.
