Azerbaijan's Texno-Atinak LLC to participate in water supply project in Central Asia

Texno-Atinak LLC, an Azerbaijani construction company, plans to participate in the next water supply project in Central Asia in 2020.a source at the company told Trend.

Negotiations are currently underway withpotential partners in Uzbekistan, the company said.

"We are completing the implementation of a costly water supply project in Uzbekistan in March 2020. Texno-Atinak intendsto continues cooperation with Uzbek partners in the construction sector. The company plans to start implementing another project in this country. Currently, main issues of participation in the upcoming project are being discussed," the source said.

Texno-Atinak will launch a water supply project in March in Uzbekistan's Syrdarya region, the company said.

"The project cost is $12 million. The project envisages laying 160 kilometers of polyethylene pipes. Work in this direction will be completed as soon as possible. The project is funded by the World Bank and the government of Uzbekistan. The international financial institution accounted for 70 percent of the funds, while the remaining 30 percent was invested by the Uzbek state," the source said.

Besides the implementation of infrastructure projects abroad, Texno-Atinak LLC also leasing various equipment and devices, including excavators, trucks, mobile construction cranes and compressors.

Texno-Atinak was established in 2011 to implement infrastructure projects in the region.
