A number of facilities will be put into operation in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
Thus, greenhouse with total area of 6 hectares in Cookingam district, as well as textile plants in Cookingam and Babadayhan districts of Turkmenistan will be commissioned and equipped in accordance with international standards in 2021.
Also, the Ashgabat-Tejen high-speed highway and the first stage of the buildings of the new administrative center of the Akhal region are also planned to be put into operation.
As reported, the construction of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat autobahn is underway in Turkmenistan.
According to the project, the freeway is designed to speed up and increase the volume of cargo transportation through the territory of Turkmenistan.
The autobahn project was planned to be implemented in three stages. The first section - Ashgabat-Tejen was planned to be put into operation in December 2020, the second-Tejen-Mary – in December 2022 and the third-Mary-Turkmenabat-in December 2023.
The project is being invested through a state loan of $2.3 billion.
