Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Aliyev / The 2nd meeting of the Co-ordination Council on Transit Transport of Economic Co-operation Organization began on 25 September in Baku. The meeting elected the Chairman of the Co-ordination Council. The Head of the Economic Department of Azerbaijan's Transport Ministry, Sadraddin Mammadov.
The sides will discuss the issue of establishing an ECO fund under the financial support of the Islamic Development Bank and Asian Development Bank, regional program on agreement on ECO transit transport.
The Council will discuss the issues of marine transport and customs. During the meeting, the first report of the railway committee will be presented. In addition, the meeting will approve the Project on System of Temporary Obligatory Insurance of Responsibility of Motor Transport Means. Moreover, the report of the Council's Legal Committee will be provided.
The meeting will conclude on 26 September.
