Azerbaijan, Baku / / Trend / Consumer products sold in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 6.7bln in January to November, or by 15.2% more than for the same period in 2006, the Azerbaijani State Statistic Committee said.
AZN 4.4bln of the total fell on foodstuffs and AZN 2.4bln on non-food products. The sale of both products increased by 13.4% and 19% as compared to the same period of 2006.
During this period service offered to the population in the amount of AZN 2.1bln with a rise of 33.4%. Around 75.7% of provided services fell on juridical persons, 24.3% on individuals, with an increase of 35.3% and 27.8% respectively.
16.3% of the total retail trade was carried out by juridical persons, 47.4% by the public during the fairs and markets, and only 36.3% in on private entrepreneurs.
