Azerbaijan, Baku, 25 April / Trend corr. U.Ismayilova / The volume of insurance premiums of the Azerbaijani largest insurance company A-GROUP during the first quarter of 2008 has increased by 18.8% and totalled AZN 1.4mln, the company reported on 25 April.
Total premiums of the A-GROUP fell on the compulsory medical insurance with AZN1.3mln, 18% more compared to 2007.
The number of premiums on complex automobile insurance increased by 32% and reached AZN 126,300.
The volume of collected insurance premiums on insurance from incidents has increased three-fold compared to the index of previous years.
A-GROUP has carried out payments in the sum of AZN 706,400 during the first quarter. .
A-GROUP has been operating in the Azerbaijani insurance market since 1995 and provides 19 types of insurances with two being obligatory. The authorized capital of the company is AZN 1.55mln.
