Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 12/ Trend , E. Ismayilov/ The Baku Metro plans to launch entrance hall of second exit of the 28 may subway station located in Salatin Asgarova street in May, a source in the Baku Metro said.
The construction work is underway and we will launch entrance hall in May, a source said.
"The administrative building of the 28 May subway station which will be located near the new exit will be launched by end of the year."
The Baku metro has functioned since 1967 (from Icheri Sheher station to Nariman Narimanov station with three intermediate stations). Seven stations of the Baku metro, including Icheri Sheher, Sahil, 28 May, Jafar Jabbarli, Khatai, Nizami and Elmler Akademiyasi, are deep-laid stations, Bakmil - surface and the rest -shallow-laid (altogether 21 stations).
