Azerbaijan has represented two infrastructural projects - to upgrade the Baku-Georgian border railway and construct a new international marine trade port, at the second meeting of the TRACECA transport corridor working group, TRACECA National Secretary from Azerbaijan Akif Mustafayev said.
Corridor participating States have represented about 50 projects.
"In April-May an Investment Forum on these projects will be held in London. European and financial institutes will invest into interesting projects," Mustafayev added.
Azerbaijan supported the project of construction a railway Jezkazgan-Beyneu route in Kazakhstan. This railway is beneficial for transportation of Chinese commodities via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway route.
The priorities of infrastructural projects of Trans European transport networks to the South corridor, and further projects for private investors were reviewed. Financing, cooperation between state and private partners and feasibility study of projects were also considered.
TRACECA's new projects were represented at the meeting, including Water-main for Black and Caspian Seas and Logistic Centres for CIS west countries and Caucasus states.
