Azerbaijani insurance AzSigorta Company will introduce on-line services for property and medical insurance during a year, the company's board deputy chairman Khayal Mammadkhanli said.
"The company introduced travel and auto on-line to insure tourist trips and obligatory insurance of cars," Mammadkhanli said.
AzSigorta will introduce on-line services on all suggested kinds of insurance in future. But created two kinds are the most necessary and elementary ones, he said.
Presently, two companies, including AzSigorta and the International Insurance Company suggest on-line insurance in Azerbaijan.
As a result of activity in the first quarter, AzSigorta collected premiums in the amount of 3.443 million manat by payments in the amount of 946,000 manat. Most part of fees fell on insurance of planes - 829,000 manat, cargo insurance - 640,000 manat, insurance from fire - 740,000 manat, auto insurance CASCO - 319,000 manat and OSAGO - 168,000 manat.
AzSigorta operates on the country's insurance market from November 2006. Presently, 8 branches of the company, as well as 40 regional representations operate in different regions of the country. AzSigorta renders 28 kinds of insurance service, three of them are obligatory.
On June 12, the official exchange rate is 0.8038 manat to $1.
