The Azerbaijan Railway has organized the passenger movement in the amount of nearly a thousand people in the direction of Baku and from the Azerbaijani capital - abroad, despite the difficulties in the train traffic in Dagestan, caused by heavy rains, which borders with Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijan Railway has organized the passenger movement in the amount of nearly a thousand people in the direction of Baku and from the Azerbaijani capital - abroad, despite the difficulties in the train traffic in Dagestan, caused by heavy rains, which borders with Azerbaijan.

Today at 18:00 (Baku time), the Moscow-Baku passenger train will arrive at the station Gizilyurd of the North Caucasus, and here passengers of this train will be placed in the busses, heading for the capital of Dagestan, with further change at the train, provided by the North Caucasian railway, said Azerbaijan Railways JSC Spokesman, Nadir Azmammadov told Trend on Sept. 21.

He said the passengers of other trains also will continue to move, despite the difficulties, caused by unfavorable weather conditions. Thus, the Tumen-Baku and Kiev-Baku passenger trains have been already changed with the Baku-Tumen train, which is moving in the opposite direction, will take passengers to the capital of Azerbaijan. Passengers of the same Baku-Tumen train, which had to suspend its shuttle movement in Dagestan, will be changed with the Tumen-Baku train, which is moving in the opposite direction, will take passengers to their destinations.

According to the North-Caucasian railway, heavy rains overflowed the reservoir and the channel of the October Revolution, which led to the break of dam, RIA Novosti reported. Then the water came to the vicinity of railway tracks.

Repair of railway lines has already begun. The completion of repair is not yet known.
