The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry divulged on-line data on outcomes of 10 insurance companies' activities to which belong 81.34 percent of the total insurance collections and 84.47 percent of the total payments in January-September, 2009.

Xalg Sigorta led the ranking on the volume of insurance collections and the biggest payment was carried out by MBASK state commercial insurance company, as last month.
Volume of the insurance market's premiums totaled 130.18 million manats. The insurance companies paid off 38.22 million manats. The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry did not indicate the activity of the only reinsurance company AzRe for January-September in the report.
Premiums of all insurance companies dropped 12.46 percent and payments - 3.66 percent for a year.
On Oct. 19, the official exchange rate is 0.803 manat to $1.
