Iran, Iceland to boost energy ties

In the sidelines of the General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna on Tuesday the Iranian Industries and Mines Minister, Ali-Akbar Mehrabian discussed energy ties with the Iceland President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson.

Due to Iran's high capacity for using geothermal energy the two sides agreed to review the possible ways for joint investments in this field, the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network reported.
