The Azerbaijani State Committee for Securities Chairman Rufat Aslanli and Ukrainian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Boris Klimchuk discussed the possibilities of expanding the cooperation between the two countries' stock markets, the committee said.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for strategic cooperation, indicated in the Memorandum on Understanding between the Azerbaijani Committee and the Ukrainian State Commission on Securities and Stock Market, signed during the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Ukraine, as well as areas of enhanced cooperation on the securities market and strengthen the positive criteria.
According to Aslanli, the creation and expansion of economic cooperation will be beneficial for both countries, as well as constant expansion of cooperation in the field of securities. He also noted the importance of expanding the possibilities of cooperation in the field of development of infrastructure of securities and considered it reasonable to expand cooperation between the financial structures of the two countries.
Klimchuk supported an initiative to increase cooperation and stressed the need for a dynamic relationship.
