The Chinese company Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive proposed locomotives of own production to CJSC 'Azerbaijan Railways', the company said on Monday.
According to the report, the company presented an electronic version of locomotives of own production to the CJSC.
Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive also proposed cooperation in other fields.
Earlier, South Korean companies HYUNDAY-ROTEM and DAEWOO also presented in Baku electronic version of the locomotives of its own production for JSC "Azerbaijan Railways".
About 50 new locomotives operating on alternating current will be bought for the section of Baku - Boyuk Kesik within a project of the state development program for 2010-2014.
In this regard, there is a sufficient basis of locomotives produced in various countries.
