Revenues of Turkmenistan’s public budget executed at 104 percent

After five months of 2010, the public budget of Turkmenistan was executed at 104 percent, expenditures - 93.9 percent.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Development, 65.6 percent of the budgetary funds were sent to implement the social policy of the state.

"Wages, pensions and benefits are paid timely and fully," said in  the report.

In accordance with the previous year growth rate of retail turnover in the five months reached 116.7 percent.
During the reported period an increase in the volume of foreign trade is observed mainly due to exports of oil products, polypropylene, liquefied gas, iodine, vegetable oil, cotton yarn, cotton fabrics, textile.

According to the BP's report, Turkmenistan ranked fourth, after Russia, Iran and Qatar for natural gas reserves in the world.
