Greece offers the Azerbaijani investors to take part in the process of privatization of the country, the Greek Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ioannis A. Metaxas told Trend today.
The Greek Embassy in Azerbaijan in the coming days will provide the Azerbaijani Government and private sector with a package of proposals with a list of objects to be privatized as airports, ports, railway points.
This is a good opportunity for the Azerbaijani businessmen, the diplomat said.
The diplomat also denied information about Greece's withdrawal from the Eurozone in the near future. "Greece doesn't intend to leave the Eurozone and transfer to other currency," the ambassador said.
At present, Greece is on the way of implementation of its program on recovery and implements it successfully, Metaxas said.
According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, during January-April of this year, trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $79.9 million.
