The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has applied financial sanctions amounting to 6,700 manat against the manufacturer of ice cream - "SABA Şirketi", the Ministry said.
A case was filed due to violations of the requirements of the antimonopoly legislation. SABA misled consumers by violating the requirements of the law "Unfair Competition".
Antimonopoly Service gave instructions to destroy 6.6 tons of ice cream "Eskimo", "Maksima", "XXI esr", "Prestige", "Saturn", "Merkuri", "Domino" and "Lunnie nochi" because of the inconsistency of quality and safety requirements.
