Kiev will continue to export grain to Georgia despite shortages on global markets and a low harvest this year, Ukrainian Ambassador to Georgia Basil Tsybenko told Trend today.
"Georgian businessmen have already held talks with Ukrainian suppliers on buying the grain," he said. "Ukraine is a major grain exporter. We will certainly supply grain to Georgia."
After Russia recently halted grain exports, bread prices increased by 10-15 tetri in Georgia.
