Movement on the railway section in Dagestan, where a blast took place on Saturday, has been restored, RIA Novosti quotes a representative of Interior Affairs Transport Line Department.

"According to our data, at 09.38 Moscow time movement was fully restored. At the moment there is no delay of trains," the agency's interlocutor said.

Both passenger and cargo transportation between Azerbaijan and Russia continue in normal mode, JSC "Azerbaijan Railways" spokesman Nadir Azmammadov said today.

According to him, despite blasts in railway in the territory of Dagestan, the railroads leading to Azerbaijan are not damaged.   

"Trains depart in normal mode and no delay is observed," Azmammadov said.

In particular, a train following the Baku-Tumen route today departed from Baku at 06:20 (local time). Also a train from Rostov will arrive in Baku at 23:00.

On Saturday night the railway bed section in the Kizlar district of Dagestan was blown up. The blast occurred at 3:36 on the stage Departure 17 - Kizlar right after passing of the passenger train "Makhachkala-Astrakhan".

Duty of Police and Interior Ministry troops who guarded the way, found near the spot of the blast group of armed men. There was shooting between armed group and police. As a result of a twenty minute clash one soldier was injured. Attackers managed to escape.
