The prices on crop and livestock increased by 1.8 percent in November, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said today.
Prices increased mainly on grain by 8.2 percent, on wheat by 0.4 percent, on beans by 0.7 percent, on cabbage by 7.2 percent, on cucumbers by 17.4 percent, on carrots by 1.9 percent, on onions by 0.3 percent, and on potatoes by 0.8 percent. Last month, the prices on corn dropped by 12.3 percent, on tomatoes by 0.8 percent, and on pumpkin by 6.3 percent.
Also in November, prices on lemon rose by 1.6 percent, on tangerines by 15.1 percent, on apples by 2.5 percent, on pears by 8.2 percent, on chestnuts by 0.7 percent, and on nuts by 1.9 percent, while prices on grapes dropped by 0.9 percent, on date-plums by 5.2 percent, and on pomegranate by three percent.
Among livestock products, prices on veal rose by 0.2 percent and on mutton by 4.4 percent, while prices on turkey dropped by 1.5 percent, on poultry by 0.3 percent, and on eggs by 0.5 percent.
Prices on fish and fish products in November dropped by 1.5 percent.
