The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) holds trainings on the topic of "Stress testing" and "Loan portfolio management" to enhance the potential of risk and loan portfolio management with the organization of SECO jointly with the Center for Research and Development under the CBA and Azerbaijan Bank Training Centre (ABTC), the CBA said on Tuesday.
Trainings are held in English by a professor at the well-known international Waterloo University, Thomas Coleman and Ph.D. David Saunders.
"Stress-testing" training is held on Feb. 21-22 and "Loan portfolio management" on Feb. 24-25. The training will focus on such issues as the importance of stress testing, its methodology, and the issues of loan portfolio management. The training will improve the business knowledge of the participants. Practical tools will be presented.
The trainings are attended by employees of the CBA and commercial banks. After training, participants will be issued joint certificates of CBA, ABTC and the Waterloo University.
