A large greenhouse complex will be commissioned in the Absheron district by late 2011. It is being built by the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund, Fuad Alizade, a representative of Baxchasaray Company, engaged in the construction industry, said.
"Modern technologies were bought to equip the complex," he said. Establishing a greenhouse complex will create more than 100 jobs."
He said that the complex will cultivate decorative plants and flowers. The production of the greenhouse complex, to be grown all year round, will fully comply with EU standards.
"We plan to sell agricultural products not only in Azerbaijan but also to export it to neighboring countries," he said.
The credit of the fund to build a complex amounted to 1,5 million manat. The total project cost is about 4 million manat.
He said that the planned capacity of the complex is 8 million units of plants per year. The complex will be commissioned by late 2011.
