Assets of the National Fund of Kazakhstan rose 5.8 percent to reach US$ 38.1 billion in May 2011, Kazinform reported.
Overall in 2011, the National Fund's assets grew by almost a quarter (24.6 percent).
International currency reserves of the National Bank of Kazakhstan decreased by 2.6 percent in May, while in total grew 27.2 percent since the beginning of 2011 making US$ 36 billion, the Kazakh MFA's press service reports.
