The Azerbaijani Insurance Company Pasha Sigorta has obtained a perpetual license to conduct insurance activities in the country, the State Insurance Supervision Service under the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry reported.
According to the report, the license was issued on July 1.
Today, Pasha Sigorta is the most capitalized insurance company of Azerbaijan (30 million manat). The Finance Ministry's minimum requirement to the insurers' capital is three million manat as of Jan.1, 2011.
Pasha Sigorta is a member of Pasha Holding. It offers 31 types of insurance services to corporate and individual clients. Pasha Sigorta has been certified by Moody's as having attained the ISO 9001:2000 standard since 2007. Pasha Sigorta is also a participant of the U.N. Global Compact Initiative for the protection of human rights, the environment and countering corruption.
