Kazakhstan will allocate 3 trillion tenge (roughly $20 billion) to Agribusiness 2020 program, spokesman for the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry Eugene Aman said at agro-industrial complex council meeting on Wednesday, Kazinform reported.
Agribusiness 2020 program is aimed at Kazakhstan's agro-industrial complex support and development in 2013-2020.
Aman added that the program envisages financial recovery of agro-industrial enterprises, increasing the availability of goods and services for farmers, development of public support systems for agro-industrial enterprises and state government system efficiency enhancing.
