About 45,000 small state-run enterprises have been privatized under the program of decentralization in Azerbaijan, Head of the State Committee on Property Issues Karam Hasanov said in his speech at the 'Heydar Aliyev and reforms in the field of property in Azerbaijan' conference on Friday.
According to him, land with more than 5.3 thousand enterprises and facilities located on it has also been privatized. Moreover, about 100 state-run enterprises have been privatized through investment tenders.
Over 825 million manat have been invested in the enterprises privatized through the investment tender. These enterprises have created more than 16.2 thousand jobs.
According to Hasanov, 850,000 real estate property rights documents have been registered during the program.
