Revenue part of Turkmenistan’s state budget fulfilled by 116.4%

In the first five months of this year, revenue from Turkmenistan's state budget was fulfilled at 116.4 percent and the expenditure part at 95.7 percent, the report of the Ministry of Finance of Turkmenistan said.

"The prices for consumer goods and services provided to the population are kept within the determined limits," the report said.

According to the report, the plan for receiving hard currency by exporting goods and providing services during the reporting period was fulfilled by 130.4 percent.

Currently, about 1,800 objects with a total value of over $ 40 billion are being built in Turkmenistan.

The Majlis (Parliament) of Turkmenistan has approved the state budget for the current year, in which revenue of 86335.8 million manats is provided and expenditure part in 89735.8 million manats. In recent years, the official rate of the Turkmen manat to one U.S. dollar in Turkmenistan remains at 2.85 Turkmen manats.

The revenue part of the state budget will be formed at the expense of fields such as oil and gas, chemical, the electrical power industry and construction. The ongoing development of the agri-industrial complex, transportation, communication, textile and food industries is provided for in the budget.

It is expected that revenues will continue to grow through the further development and support of activities of non-state enterprises.

Turkmenistan has provided a significant increase in deductions for the construction of new objects of the national tourist zone "Avaza", the construction of objects of social and cultural values, objects of industry and transport and communication infrastructure in the capital and the regions.
