Iran`s auto exports have decreased by 92 percent during the first four months of the current solar year (started on March 21) compared to the same period of last year, Fars news agency reported refering to the statistics of the Islamic republic of Iran customs administrations(IRICA).
According to the report Iran has exported 1269 autos worth $10 million during this period.
Iraq had the largest share of Iran's auto exports with 849 cars, and the share of Azerbaijan and Ukraine was 144 and 104 respectively during this period.
Speaking of imports, Iran has imported some 12, 640 vehicles worth $226 million during this period which has increased by 1.9 percent in value compared the same period of the last solar year, the report said.
Vehicles has imported mainly from UAE, China and South Korea.
The share of UAE is some 9,194 autos, while China and South Korea share 1960 and 851 autos respectively.
