Kazakhstan, Astana, September 5 / Trend D. Mukhtarov/

Kazakhstan is introducing a third method of toll payment with a distance non-stop payment on a paid toll road, the country's Ministry of Transport and Communications reported.

"Devices called transponders will allow drivers to save time. The system will automatically detect the car where the device is installed and if funds are available on the transponder will charge it and then give a permit to pass through," Daniyar Nurmanov, the first deputy chairman of the JSC KazAvtoZhol board said.

Since May 31, 2013, the Astana - Shchuchinsk highway became a paid toll road. Earlier, the fare was carried out in two ways, by cash and bank cards.
