The inflation in Kyrgyzstan in August amounted to 1.1 percent compared to December 2012, KyrTAG reported on Tuesday with reference to Kyrgyzstan's statistics committee.
According to the report, the factor controlling the inflation is the decrease of consumer prices for bakery products and cereals by 1.4 percent and vegetables by 12.8 percent.
In Batken and Talass oblasts of the country the prices for consumer goods decreased, while in Osh oblast low increase of consumer prices and tariffs is still being observed, compared to December, 2012.
