New dam to be built in south-east Turkey

A new dam will be built in the south-eastern province of Mus as part of the development of the Turkish regions, Haber 7 TV channel reported on Monday.

According to the TV channel, the total cost of the new project will reach two billion Turkish liras and the project will be implemented by the Turkish Ministry of Forestry and Water Resources.

According to the TV channel, around three billion Turkish liras have been invested in the province of Mus to develop the regions for the past 10 years.

The official exchange rate is 1, 9764 TRY/USD on Oct. 21.
