The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry announced the outcome of the top ten insurance companies' activity for January-October. Over 82.32 percent of the total insurance fee volume falls to them.
Some 28 insurance companies and one reinsurance company operated in Azerbaijan during that period.

Pasa Sıgorta insurance company led the ranking on insurance fees as in the previous month. Around 23 percent of premiums collected by all companies in January-October fell to this company.
Atesgah Sıgorta with a total volume of claims worth 12.11 million manat (12.24 percent of all claims) and Azerbaijan Republic State Insurance Commerce Company Azersıgorta with a total volume of claims worth 10.68 million manat (10.79 per cent) ranked the second and third respectively.
The total amount of premiums of all companies operating in the country amounted to 337.65 million manat in January-October 2013 (a 19.67 percent increase over the year) and claims during this period hit 98.97 million manat (a 31.16 percent increase).
The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry's report did not include the figures of the only reinsurance company AzRE.
