By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Iran and North Ossetia have called for enhancing economic and trade ties, IRIB reported on March 11.
North Ossetia is a republic within the Russian Caucasus.
In a meeting which was held in North Ossetia's city of Vladikavkaz, the two sides discussed ways to expand bilateral relations.
The need for facilitating transportation of Iranian goods to North Ossetia and launching routine flights between the two states, cooperation in energy and mining sectors were among the main topics of discussion.
