The growth rate of Turkmenistan's GDP remained at 8.3 percent in Jan.-Sept. 2015, said the message from the country's Ministry of Economy and Development.
The ministry said that the growth rate of the country's GDP remains at a high level.
During the reporting period, these rates stood at 3.5 percent in industry, 12.6 percent - construction, 11.9 percent - transport and communications sector, 12.5 percent - trade, 12.3 percent - agriculture and 11.8 percent - in the sphere of services.
"The volume of retail trade in Turkmenistan has increased by 19.2 percent in the first nine months of 2015 compared to the same period of 2014," said the message.
Positive dynamics is observed in the foreign trade turnover as well, according to the Ministry of Economy and Development.
Turkmenistan ranks fourth for the volume of natural gas reserve, according to BP report. Currently, the country has an opportunity to export its gas to China, Iran and Russia.
Ashgabat pursues the policy of diversification of the country's economy. Such spheres as textile industry, oil products, oil and gas chemical industry actively develop in Turkmenistan.
