The jetpacks having a speed up to 74 kilometers per hour will be put up for sale in 2016, the representatives of the manufacturing company told reporters, RIA Novosti reported.
The manufacturing company based in New Zealand expects to start selling Martin Jetpack in the second half of 2016.
The approximate price will reach $200,000-250,000. The jetpacks can raise a person at a height of about 900 meters above the ground.
The emergency services will mainly buy the jetpacks, the representatives of the company said at Dubai Airshow-2015.
The jetpacks will be offered in the agricultural sector, as well as the oil and gas industry.
Afterwards, they will be available for other customers, who will use them for personal purposes.
