Uzbekistan’s Kafolat company increases collection of premiums by almost 40%

Uzbekistan’s Kafolat insurance company JSC increased the collection of premiums by 37.9 percent to 37.7 billion Uzbek soums in January-June 2016 compared to the same period of 2015.

Uzbekistan’s Kafolat insurance company JSC increased the collection of premiums by 37.9 percent to 37.7 billion Uzbek soums in January-June 2016 compared to the same period of 2015, a representative of the company told Trend Aug. 3.

Almost a half of premiums’ total volume – 46.2 percent – was collected on compulsory types of insurance. Meanwhile, collections on compulsory civil liability insurance of owners of motor vehicles amounted to nine billion soums, on employer’s liability insurance – 7.4 billion soums, on civil liability insurance for carriers – one billion soums.

Payment of insurance indemnities increased by 1.3 times – to 7.4 billion soums in January-June 2016.

Kafolat insurance company JSC was founded in 1997 upon the Uzbek government's decision. The company renders more than 80 types of insurance in over 150 territorial divisions throughout the country.
