Subsidiaries in Azerbaijan will not be able to acquire shares in parent organizations.
This is stipulated by amendments to the Civil Code of Azerbaijan, mulled at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship in Baku Mar. 30.
Under the amendments, subsidiaries will not have the right to purchase shares of parent organizations.
Subordinate organizations will not be able to acquire stakes in parent organizations either.
