Seaplane flights have been completely suspended in the Bursa province in the north-west of Turkey, the Mayor’s Office of the province said in a message Jan. 6.
Such a decision was made because seaplane flights were unprofitable.
No more than 3-5 people daily used this type of air transport for 10 months, and this resulted in losses worth 18 million Turkish liras.
Seaplane flights in the Bursa province were carried out since 2013.
