The production of cars by General Motors Uzbekistan Ltd decreased by 7.4 percent in 2017 and amounted to more than 82,000, whereas in 2016, the production decreased by 52.5 percent, and in 2015 – by 24.5 percent, a source in the JSC Uzavtosanoat (JSC Uzavtoprom) told Trend.
In particular, the production of Daewoo Nexia cars decreased by 35 percent to 20,700, Daewoo Damas – by 18 percent to 15,800, Chevrolet Spark – by 12 percent to 15,600, while the production of Chevrolet Lacetti increased by 18 percent to 11,200, Chevrolet Cobalt – by 2,5 times up to 10,000, Daewoo Matis – by 2.1 times up to 6,300, and the production of Chevrolet Captiva decreased by 4 percent to 2,600.
