As of the end of the previous week, the Central Securities Depository of Uzbekistan registered more than 4.3 trillion shares issued by 602 joint-stock companies.
The total amount of the shares was over 49.8 trillion soums. Of these, more than 2.3 trillion shares worth over 12 trillion soums accounted for the financial sector.
Previous week, the number of shares was over 4.3 trillion pieces, worth more than 49.6 trillion soums.
During Feb.2-9, the Depository registered additional issue of shares by O'zagroservis AJ, Paxtakor paxta tozalash AJ, O'zburg'uneftgaz AJ for more than 150.8 billion soums.
During the same period, shares of the 22nd issue of Mikrokreditbank ATB for more than 12.4 billion soums were deregistered.
As of January 1, 2018, the Central Securities Depository registered more than 4.5 trillion shares issued by 606 joint-stock companies. The total amount of the shares was over 48.6 trillion soums.
The Central Securities Depository is the largest institution on the stock market of Uzbekistan, providing a single storage system, discount rights and movements of securities in depository system of Uzbekistan.
