French food giant Danone will use dried fruits produced by the Azerbaijani company Balkhurma, head of the Azerbaijani company’s Department for Business Development and Human Resources, Elnur Sadigov, told Trend April 4.
“Today we negotiate with the world famous company Danone. The company plans to use Azerbaijani dried fruits in the production of yoghurts. We intend to install new equipment in our enterprise in the Balakan city to meet their standards. We plan to sign a contract in 2019,” he noted.
Balkhurma, started in 2016, has a weekly production capacity of 20 tons, and currently, about 100 people work there.
