Kabardino-Balkarian enterprise Terekalmaz JSC will supply drilling equipment to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian region said.

The agreement was reached as a result of the signing of a number of contracts between representatives of the company and officials from Uzbekistan.

Earlier, the Russian delegation paid a working visit to Tashkent, where they held talks with Chairman of the State Committee of Uzbekistan on Geology and Mineral Resources Bobir Islamov and Chairman of the Board of Uzstroymaterialy JSC Botir Zaripov.

In November 2017, Uzstroymaterialy and Eurocement Group signed an agreement on implementation of the investment project “Construction of a new plant for production of cement by dry method” for $160 million with a capacity of 2.4 million tons of cement per year.
