Baku, Azerbaijan, May 31
By Ali Mustafayev – Trend:
Kazakhstan’s SCAT airlines launched flights from Russia's Tomsk city to Astana, the press service of the Kazakh embassy in Russia said in message.
The flights will be operated twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays by CRJ200 (Canadair Regional Jet).
The Astana-Tomsk flights were suspended in 2016 and 2017.
The airliners from Astana to Tomsk will depart at 13:10, and the flight in the opposite direction is scheduled at 16:50 (local times for each airport). The cost of tickets starts from 7,000 rubles.
The long-awaited Astana-Tomsk flight will not only allow Kazakh students to significantly reduce their time on the way home, but also make business and tourism trips between Russia and Kazakhstan more convenient.
