Some 13,130 tons of phosphate concentrate were produced by Iran’s Esfordi Phosphate Industrial and Mineral Complex in the first two months of the current Iranian fiscal year (started March 21), a report said.
The output of Iran’s major phosphate producer, Esfordi Phosphate Industrial and Mineral Complex, reached 13,130 tons during the first two months of the current year, registering a 17 percent increase compared to last year’s corresponding period, Iranian Mines and Mineral Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported on its website.
Last year, 11,223 tons of phosphate concentrate were produced during the period.
The company’s phosphate extraction during the period was 43,886 tons, the report added.
The Esfordi phosphate plant is a subsidiary of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company and is located in Bafq County in Yazd Province.
