Plant for production of pasta commissioned in Turkmenistan

A plant for production of pasta has been commissioned in the city of Balkanabat, the administrative center of the same-name region of Turkmenistan, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper wrote.

The project was implemented within the state program on manufacturing import substituting products.

The enterprise was built by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan using the credit allocated by the joint stock commercial bank Senagat.

The plant has Italian equipment. The capacity of the automated production line is 270 tons per year.

Production of 10 types of pasta has been arranged at the enterprise, which are sold under the PG trademark, the message says.

In addition, a greenhouse complex has been built in the capital of the western region of Turkmenistan. It is planned to harvest 200 tons of tomatoes per year from 0.5 hectares.
