Farm in North Kazakhstan leader of agriculture digitization

Two farming enterprises in the North Kazakhstan Region received awards at the large-scale republican forum, Astana Agro Forum 2018, Kazakh media reported.
One of them is Atameken-Agro JSC, which became the winner in the nomination "Leader of Digitization in Agriculture". The corporate farm uses the Geosys satellite monitoring of fields, Agroplan planning system, Agrofact module for monitoring agricultural equipment, Grain Balance to monitor the movement, storage and processing of grain, as well as Agromap mobile app for viewing field history, chemical and meteorological maps. It is worth noting that labor productivity in Atameken-Agro has doubled over the past four years.
Babyk-Burluk LLP in North Kazakhstan became the winner in the nomination "Record Holder in the Agricultural Production". This year the farm has updated the regional record for wheat yield – 62.5 centners per hectare. In general, the average yield of the farm was 40 centners per hectare.
Astana Agro Forum 2018 brought together more than 800 representatives of the international expert community and non-governmental sector, agricultural producers, heads of local executive bodies, etc. The event included a meeting with participation of the heads of large transnational companies and industry leaders, where a number of promising memorandums were signed.
