Several private sector projects will soon kick off on Kish island, the managing director of Kish Free Zone Organization Ebrahim Ansari-Lari said, ILNA reported.

"When I took over the office, there were some delicate projects, some of the projects were active and others were inactive. Some of the investors had left Kish Island, but we managed to bring them back, through negotiations,” he said.

Ansari-Lari went on to add some other investors are unreachable though.

"They left us with projects, people and problems," he said.

He went on to add that there were never any foreign investors on the island.

“Of course, implementation of some projects with foreign investments are considereded, but nothing is fixed,” said Ansari-Lari.
