Maxsustrans, a Tashkent municipal enterprise, began operating 182 new Hyundai cars, including garbage trucks, container trucks and sprinkler trucks, the press service of the city administration said.
Thus, the vehicle park of Maxsustrans now consists of over 540 cars.
The new cars will improve the removal of household wastes from landfills in Tashkent and Chirchiq.
Today, Maxsustrans accounts for 54 percent of all collected solid household waste in Tashkent. Alternative service companies also operate in the city.
