In January-November 2018, some 45,300 new small enterprises and microfirms were created in Uzbekistan, which is 26.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2017, Trend reports on Dec. 13 referring to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
The total number of small enterprises and microfirms operating in Uzbekistan amounted to 261,100, which is 13.6 percent more than by Dec. 1, 2017.
Reportedly, the biggest number of small enterprises and microfirms was created in the sector of trade – 10,729, in industry – 10,431, in construction – 5,991, in agriculture, forestry and fishery – 5,256.
