The overall value of clothing output in Azerbaijan was 74.45 million manats in January-November 2018, which is 2.1 percent less compared to January-October 2017, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee's report.
According to the report, the output of leather goods and footwear increased by 28.3 percent to 22.21 million manats for the year. The output in the spinning industry increased by 42.4 percent to 198.51 million manats.
Spinning industry products, footwear, clothing and leather products worth 295.2 million manats (a 21.3 percent growth for the year) were produced in the first 11 months of this year.

During the reported period, the retail turnover of spinning industry products, clothing and footwear amounted to almost 6.01 billion manats, having increased by 3.4 percent over the year. In retail chains, consumers spend about 18.5 percent of their money on clothes and shoes.
